You need to file an appeal within 90 days of the date that appears on your Notice of Assessment
You may apply for an extension of date to file an appeal within one year after the Notice of Assessment is issued
You may go back several years and adjust your tax returns, a new Notice of Assessment will be issued either rejecting or accepting your request. The date of this assessment will be the relevant date with regard to filing an appeal.
